Course Overview

Gain your TPCP1A qualification in Testing & Purging of pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume, up to 40mbar for natural gas only. This ACS course is essential for operatives working on smaller-scale commercial gas pipework installations.

Understand the requirements for tightness testing of pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume

This course is aimed at experienced gas operatives who want to carry out tightness testing and direct purging of commercial installation pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume, for natural gas only. It’s suited to those working on smaller commercial gas installations, and is normally undertaken as part of either the Commercial Changeover Gas Safety Package or the Core Commercial Gas Safety Package alongside COCN1 or CODNCO1. Training is not always a mandatory prerequisite to assessment for sufficiently experienced operatives.
