Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification, Periodic Inspection Testing, Condition Reporting & Certification of Electrical Installations

Course content:

• The requirements for completing the safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations
• The requirements for the use of test instruments used to carry out inspection and testing of electrical installation
• The requirements for completing the inspection of electrical installations
• Testing before circuits are energised
• Testing energised installations
• Confirming safe systems of work and the suitability of the electrical installation for initial verification
• Testing electrical installations prior to them being placed into service
• Commission the electrical installation
• Reporting on the condition of the electrical installation to the client

Qualified and practicing electricians who are aged 18+. Those who hold the current edition of Award in the Requirements of Electrical Installations BS7671, a Level 3 Electrical qualification and a Level 3 Initial Verification of Electrical Installations qualification. Please note: pre-requisite certificates will need to be sent over and checked by Lomax prior to course booking.
