This course is for gas operatives and emergency service provider/meter installer operatives who already hold a CESP1 or CMA1 qualification and now need to renew it in line with the five-year ACS requalification cycle. Learners must have held the qualification previously to undertake reassessment; if it expired within the last 12 months, reassessment can proceed as normal, but if it lapsed more than 12 months ago, the full initial assessment must be completed instead. Operatives holding CESP1 may undertake CMA1 reassessment, and vice versa, and learners must also hold the relevant pipework or meter element for the specific work they intend to carry out.
